Terms and Conditions 

These terms and conditions shall apply to all sales orders accepted by NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES. It is the customer’s responsibility to read these Terms & Conditions on each occasion a purchase is required. 

 

General Terms and Conditions

  1. By placing an order with us, you warrant that:
    1. you are a Customer; either consumer or business
    2. you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
    3. the information you provide to us during the process of placing an order for Goods and/or
    4. Services is accurate, complete, and not misleading; and you are fully aware of our Terms.
  2. The names and reference numbers of manufacturers and suppliers other than NS numbers used on this website are shown only to assist our customers in identifying replacement and equivalent parts. Under no circumstances does NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES imply that the parts sold by us are those of the OE manufacturers. Although care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of data contained in this publication, NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES does not assume any liability for errors or omissions.
  3. You agree that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have ordered the correct Goods from us and that the Goods suitable and fit for the purpose(s) they are intended to be used for by you. Unless we expressly state otherwise, in writing, we do not provide advice on such suitability.
  4. You further agree and must ensure that the information you provide to us during the process of placing an order for Goods and/or Services is accurate, complete, and not misleading. We shall not be held responsible for any inaccuracies incomplete or misleading information you provide to us.
  5. Our employees, representatives or agents are not authorised to make any representations concerning the Goods or their installation unless confirmed by us in writing. You acknowledge that you do not rely on any representations that have not been confirmed in writing. Nothing in these Terms affects the liability of either party for fraudulent misrepresentation.
  6. Any advice or recommendation given by our employees, representatives or agents to you or your employees as to the storage, application, use, servicing, or maintenance of the Goods which is not confirmed in writing by us is followed or acted upon entirely at your own risk, and we shall not be liable for any such advice or recommendation which is not so confirmed in writing.
  7. The website shall always endeavour to provide the correct information, however, on occasions the images may not always depict the actual product and NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES reserve all rights to change a product for another that is fit for purpose.
  8. We retain all copyright and title to all documentation relating to Goods delivered to you by us. This documentation may only be used for the purposes intended in any contract between us and you and not for any other purpose without our permission. It must be returned on demand.
  9. The customer must provide adequate paperwork details received with the initial order, such as invoice number or Customer number in order for us to proceed with any claims. It is the responsibility of the customer to source and provide these details prior to any claims.

 

Delivery

  • Delivery can be to any address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. 
  • All deliveries must be signed for. 
  • NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way.
  • Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.
  • We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.
  • If a delivery method is not available an option of “Arrange My Own Courier” will display on your online order. This enables you to order through the website and arrange your own courier for your goods. Read the Arrange my own Courier Section for more details.

  • If goods upon delivery are found to be damaged then NO claim can be made against NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES. All items are dispatched from our store after firstly being inspected by two members of staff prior to packaging. Images are then taken which are date & time stamped to show parts are undamaged prior to packaging. The items are then wrapped under CCTV to show the care taken in packing and again to verify all items are added to the order. 
  • Our couriers do not offer insurance cover for the carriage of motor vehicle part and we in turn will not be accepting liability or responsibility for replacement of items/goods damaged in transit. If goods upon delivery are found to be damaged then NO claim can be made against NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES.  Damage in Transit: Windscreens, Doors including glass. Please be advised that 4x4 Spares New & Used Parts Limited t/a North South 4x4 is not liable to provide compensation for any damage occurring once an order leaves our warehouse, damage occurring during shipping or damage occurring before a customer receives their products. Delivery couriers may deny a customer’s claim for compensation. Please only order these fragile goods if you fully accept these terms and conditions. 
  • Any claim that any Goods have not been delivered to you by us or our appointed carriers where we claim we have delivered the same to you, or left the Goods in a safe place or delivered the Goods to your neighbour and/or our appointed carriers have obtained a signature for the delivery of the Goods (from any of the above (where applicable), such claim must be notified by you to us within 2 days of their expected delivery. We shall then liaise with our carrier and/or our driver and we may require copies of two forms of personal identification documents from you (such as passport, driving licence, bank card etc.) or any third party. Once we have reviewed all documentary evidence and statements from the relevant drivers we shall then come back to you within a reasonable timescale of our decision (to replace such Goods, issue you with a credit note for the price of such Goods, refund the price paid for such Goods or to not provide any of the aforementioned) which shall be final and binding. The provisions of this clause set out your sole remedy in such circumstances
  • Any consignment that is attempted delivery on a number of occasions and not collected from the local depot or not arranged to be re-delivered within the grace period, also if a parcel is refused upon delivery and returned to NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES, there will be a surcharged of £40+VAT per parcel that is returned to NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES.

 

Delivery Cost
  • When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added up automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order.
  • Delivery costs vary for each item and will total in the basket.  You should only pay one delivery charge per order, which will be the highest depending on the contents of your order and your chosen delivery service. 
  • Delivery costs vary per country, and we do our best to provide you with the best and most cost-effective delivery options available. However, we may to contact you for additional information regarding delivery and postage.   

 

Delivery Timescales
  • We endeavour to process and dispatch all orders taken before 13:00 on the same day. Delivery transit time depends on geographical area, but we aim to deliver within 3-5 working days for mainland United Kingdom orders. 
  • Our goal is to provide you with the best customer service available. For that reason, we do deliver to the highlands, island and more remote locations (listed below) but these locations are subject to additional delivery surcharges: Scottish Isles, Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight any other Island or remote location postcodes that may not be listed below are subject to a delivery surcharge. KW, IV, PA, PH, GY, HS, IM, IV41-IV51, IV55, IV56, JE, KA27, KA28, KW15 - KW17,PA20, PA41-PA49, PA60-PA78, PA80-PA88, PH42-PH44, TR21-TR25, ZE, PO30 - PO41. Delivery surcharges will differ based on location but we endeavour to find you the best possible deal. 
  • All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. The contents of your order and your delivery postcode area will determine which delivery services you will be offered.

Arrange your own Courier

If for any reason we cannot deliver to your country or if you prefer to arrange your own courier, doing so is easy with NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES. If you prefer us to quote your carriage before placing an order, please email NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES (info@ns4x4.com) with a list of our part numbers and quantities you require.

  • You can find part numbers on our website, these are the NS##### number in green under the part name. 
  • Place an order to receive weight & dimensions, or email us. You can add everything you want to your basket then copy and paste your basket contents into an email and we will provide the dimensions prior to ordering.
  • Once you have placed an order and paid for your goods NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES will then package your goods and provide the weight and dimensions of the parcel(s) required by online couriers and confirm it is ready to collect.
  • When we receive your order and package your goods, we will then email you to confirm your order is ready to collect by your courier. We will then provide you with details of where your courier can collect your goods from. 
  • Please make sure to forward all shipping documents & labels you will receive by email to info@ns4x4.co.uk  We will then attach the documents to the parcel ready for collection.

Returns and Unwanted/In-correctly ordered Goods

We do not accept returns which have not been authorised by our returns department without a completed RMA form. Prior agreement must be secured via email before we accept a return. Do not send a return without contacting us first. If you send a return to us without prior authorisation there is no obligation for us to offer you a refund, replacement or reimbursement. Contact info@ns4x4.co.uk to receive an RMA (returns) form and we will guide you through the returns process. 
Goods must be checked for suitability and tolerance prior to fitting or preparation. No responsibility whatsoever is accepted for the purchase or fitment of incorrect parts. The responsibility is clearly with the purchaser/fitter to ensure the parts supplied are correct for the particular job/vehicle. NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES will only accept a return product that has been wrongly supplied/delivered after being advised within a strict 14 day period, after which the customer shall retain all goods unless otherwise prior arrangement are made to NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES to the contrary.
 
How to Submit a Return
  • Returns must be processed at our Returns Processing Center. If you send them elsewhere you shall not be covered by our returns policy and you will no longer have any right to a refund.  
     
  • We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of returning Goods during transit
  • You must provide a paper/physical copy of the completed RMA form and ensure it is stapled or taped to the packaging of your part.  
     
  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of our customer. If you need assistance, please contact us and we'll recommend the most cost-effective way to send your return to us.
  • We do not offer returns on electrical items. Goods should be returned unused, undamaged, and intact with their original box, completely packaged its original condition with all materials and accessories intact.
 
Unwanted/In-Correctly Ordered Goods From Our Website
If you as a consumer decide that you do not want any item which was bought on the Website and we have delivered, then provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition, not fitted in anyway and dispatched within 14 days of delivery, unless otherwise agreed prior with NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES , we will exchange it or offer a refund for the product. 
  • The consumer is responsible for the cost of returning the item. 
  • A re-stock charge of 15% minimum may be applied subject NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES discretion for diminished value. 
  • No refund or return will be accepted on "specially ordered" parts that are a part ordered by NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES on behalf of the customer. These are not stocked items and therefore will not be accepted for a return or refund. Any goods listed as "stocked to order" will also NOT be eligible for any refunds, even if wanting to be returned before the 14 days. "Stocked to order" means specifically ordered for your purchase and therefore non-returnable.
  • No refund or return will be accepted on "Electrical or VOR item" that are supplied correctly by NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES. 
  • The customer is held responsible for the return of the goods NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES unless prior arrangements are made with NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES . 
  • Refunds will only be given once the goods have been returned in good order and in original packaging. Please take reasonable care of the Goods as we are entitled to deduct an amount from the refund to reflect any loss in value of the goods supplied to you, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling of the goods by you.
  • The customer must provide adequate paperwork details received with the initial order, such as invoice number or Customer number in order for us to proceed with any claims. It is the responsibility of the customer and not 4x4 Spares New & Used Parts Limited t/a North South 4x4 to source and provide these details prior to any claims.
  • The goods should be returned with their original box, complete packing and accessories.
  • If the return is due to missing or faulty parts then we will offer a replacement provided we are aware of this within 3 working days.
  • We will normally refund any money due to you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. This may take your bank approximately 3-5 working days from the date the refund is processed by us.

Pricing & Payment Methods

  • We accept bank transfer and all major debit and credit cards for payment but unfortunately, we do not support American Express. We have also partnered with Klarna who provide various buy now pay later options. 
  • The price(s) of the Goods will be as quoted in our Product Information or any other marketing literature from time to time except in cases of error. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time without notification to consider any increase in our costs (including but not limited to the cost of materials, labour, transport or other overheads, any tax, duty or variation in exchange rates).
  • The price you pay is the price displayed on this Website at the time we receive your order. While we try and ensure that all our prices on our Website are accurate, some prices may be incorrectly listed. If we discover an error in the price of the Goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the Goods at the correct price. 
  • We are under no obligation to provide Goods or Services to you at an incorrect, lower price, even after we have acknowledged your order or despatched the Goods or started performance of the Services. 
  • We list prices as both inclusive and exclusive of VAT. All prices are exclusive of any other sales tax or duty that may be applicable which will be payable in addition to the price unless otherwise stated. Some orders may be subject to import taxes, custom duties and fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer. NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES will not be responsible for any charges that are incurred after the purchase.
  • Unless otherwise specified, the delivery costs (if any) will be quoted at the time you place your order for Goods. The entire cost of any other mode of transport or any special deliveries other than the standard delivery service we offer, will be borne by you.

 

Cancellation of Orders:

  • You can cancel your order prior to shipping with no cost penalty being incurred and full credit of your account if monies have already been taken. 
  • The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last Good(s).
  • We shall have no liability for incorrect Goods purchased by you online for foreign registered cars once the cancellation period ends 14 days after delivery.  
  • To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
  • You can cancel an order by emailing customer services on info@ns4x4.co.uk 
  • We reserve the right to cancel an order at our own discretion. 

 

Warranty and Liability  
Subject to the conditions set out below NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES warrants that the goods will correspond with their specification at the time of delivery or collection and will be free from defects in material and workmanship as detailed on the product description. NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES warrants shall NOT be liable for any labour or associated claims should a product fail, warranty will however apply to any part, or parts purchased by the buyer within the warranty period to include carriage to replace the original purchased goods.

 

Warranty subject to the following condition applies:

  • Warranty of any goods will only be applied to the United Kingdom. Overseas customers who purchase goods do so by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions without exception.
  • Products are supplied with manufacturer’s standard warranties. Miss-use or the incorrect fitting of parts by customers will render such warranty/guarantee null and void.
  • Goods must be checked for suitability and tolerance prior to fitting or preparation, no responsibility whatsoever is accepted for the fitment of incorrect parts. The responsibility is clearly with the buyer/fitter to ensure the parts supplied are correct for the particular job / vehicle. 
  • NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from, incorrect fitting of the Goods by you and/or a third party, fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow our and/or the Goods’ manufacturers’ instructions (whether spoken or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the Goods without our approval or for Goods fitted to any vehicle that is modified contrary to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications and/or (default) factory settings.
  • NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES is not responsible for any damage or consequential losses or cost resulting from the fitment of parts supplied. Damage to any product during fitment lies purely with the buyer/fitter and is not covered under warranty terms. The above warranty does not extend to, any labour costs incurred, parts, materials or equipment not manufactured or supplied by the seller.
  • Parts modified or adapted by the buyer shall no longer be warranted by the manufacturer nor shall NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES be liable for any failures resulting to modification.

 
Warranty does not cover the following:

  • Please note that NO Chrome/Stainless product is covered under warranty if purchased from NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES within any period of time. A customer that makes a purchase for any chrome / stainless product does so with this knowledge and agrees to these terms. 
  • This includes issues such as Corrosion in anyway, Damage to Alloy, Chrome plating Stainless or Lacquerer surfaces due to:
  • Normal On-road and Off-road wear and tear including stone chips etc.
  • Salted Roads in winter causing salt corrosion.
  • Use of abrasive chemical cleaners
  • Wheels, chrome, and Stainless products should be cleaned using mild soap and water solution, chrome caps, bumpers etc. are not covered under warranty against rust due to nature of our climate and the excessive salt applied on road surfaces.
  • To help prevent corrosion on chrome products smear the inside with a waterproof product or grease and apply polish throughout the winter, this will help prevent rust from forming.

 
Defective Goods
  • Where goods purchased by the buyer are alleged to be defective, the purchaser agrees to return such goods to the seller for inspection and report (without the seller replacing the said goods prior to such inspection). 
  • The buyer also accepts that it is reasonable to inform the seller of any interruption, defect or other failure prior to contacting independent third parties or incurring expense and, in addition, to allow the seller to remedy the defect, failure or interruption. 
  • NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES is not responsible for any damage or consequential losses or labour costs resulting from the fitment of parts supplied if found defective or otherwise.
  • Any claim by the buyer which is based on any defect in quality or condition of the goods or their failure to correspond with the specifications should be notified to NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES within 3 days from the date of sale. If the buyer does not notify the seller accordingly, the buyer shall not be entitled to reject the goods and the seller shall have no liability for such defect or failure, and the buyer shall be bound to pay the price as if the goods had been received in accordance with the contract.
  • Where any valid claim in respect of any of the Goods which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of the Goods or their failure to meet specification is notified to the Seller in accordance with these Conditions, the Seller shall be entitled to replace the Goods (or the part in question) free of charge or, at the Seller’s sole discretion, refund to the Buyer the price of the Goods (or a proportionate part of the price), but the Seller shall have no liability to the Buyer.
  • Warranty: To be eligible for warranty coverage, the part must be fitted by a certified professional mechanic. Proof of fitment, including the mechanic's certification, must be submitted us within 30 days of the part's purchase date. Please send supporting documentation to us via email info@ns4x4.com
  • Professional Installation: The part must be installed by a professional mechanic in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and industry standards. Installation by an uncertified individual will void the warranty.
  • Proof of Fitment: Customers must provide proof of fitment, which includes a detailed invoice from the certified mechanic specifying the installation date, the mechanic's credentials, and any other relevant details.
  • Submission Deadline: Proof of fitment must be submitted to us within 30 days of the original purchase date. Failure to submit the required documentation within this timeframe will result in the warranty being voided.
  • Warranty Claims: In the event of a warranty claim, customers must contact us immediately. The warranty claim must include the original proof of purchase, proof of fitment, and a detailed description of the issue.
  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damages caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, accidents, or any modifications not approved by the manufacturer. Normal wear and tear are also excluded from warranty coverage.
  • Warranty Process: Upon receipt of a valid warranty claim, we will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part. If the part is no longer available, we may provide an equivalent replacement or a refund.
  • Transferability: This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the car part.
  • Limitation of Liability: We shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the warranted part.
  • NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES will not be held responsible for any carriage or transportation outside of Ireland to bring back any defective part; this will be the sole responsibility of the customer without exception. If shipped by NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES outside of Ireland then it will be the customers’ responsibility to return the warranty component and arrange the carriage for the replacement part.

 

Force Majeure

NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES will not be held responsible for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered, or any delay in doing so or for any damage, or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control e.g. shipping delays, natural disasters, war etc. All confirmed orders may be partially or fully suspended without liability on our part.
