Terms and Conditions

Delivery:

Delivery can be to any address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. All deliveries must be signed for. Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.

When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added up automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order.

Delivery costs: Delivery costs vary for each item and will total in the basket. 


All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. We aim to deliver in 5 working days. However, delivery may take up to 7-10 working days.

The contents of your order and your delivery postcode area will determine which delivery services you will be offered. We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.

Scottish Isles, Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight any other Island or remote location postcodes that may not be listed below are subject to a delivery surcharge. KW, IV, PA, PH, GY, HS, IM, IV41-IV51, IV55, IV56, JE, KA27, KA28, KW15 - KW17,PA20, PA41-PA49, PA60-PA78, PA80-PA88, PH42-PH44, TR21-TR25, ZE, PO30 - PO41

Delivery will be between the hours of 7am and 6pm; we are unable to confirm a time.

NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

Postage / Shipping charges:

You should only pay one delivery charge per order, which will be the highest depending on the contents of your order and your chosen delivery service. When you have added items to your shopping basket, the standard delivery charge for those products will be automatically applied to your order. If we feel that you have been overcharged for Postage / Shipping we will endeavor to send a voucher or credit your account reduce the amount of your next order.

If goods upon delivery are found to be damaged then NO claim can be made against NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES. All items are dispatched from our store after firstly being inspected by two members of staff prior to packaging. Images are then taken which are date & time stamped to show parts are undamaged prior to packaging. The items are then wrapped under CCTV to show the care taken in packing and again to verify all items are added to the order.

Our couriers do not offer insurance cover for the carriage of motor vehicle part and we in turn will not be accepting liability or responsibility for replacement of items/goods damaged in transit. 

If goods upon delivery are found to be damaged then NO claim can be made against NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES.


Any claim that any Goods have not been delivered to you by us or our appointed carriers where we claim we have delivered the same to you, or left the Goods in a safe place or delivered the Goods to your neighbour and/or our appointed carriers have obtained a signature for the delivery of the Goods (from any of the above (where applicable), such claim must be notified by you to us within 2 days of their expected delivery. We shall then liaise with our carrier and/or our driver and we may require copies of two forms of personal identification documents from you (such as passport, driving licence, bank card etc.) or any third party. Once we have reviewed all documentary evidence and statements from the relevant drivers we shall then come back to you within a reasonable timescale of our decision (to replace such Goods, issue you with a credit note for the price of such Goods, refund the price paid for such Goods or to not provide any of the aforementioned) which shall be final and binding. The provisions of this clause set out your sole remedy in such circumstances.


Any consignment that is attempted delivery on a number of occasions and not collected from the local depot or not arranged to be re-delivered within the grace period, also if a parcel is refused 

upon delivery and returned to NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES, there will be a surcharged of £40+VAT per parcel that is returned to NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES.


Returns:

Returns must be processed at our Returns Processing Center. If you send them elsewhere you shall not be covered by our returns policy and you will no longer have any right to a refund.

Unwanted/ In-correctly ordered Goods by mail order from our website


If you as a consumer decide that you do not want any item which was bought on the Website and we have delivered, then provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition, not fitted in anyway and dispatched within 14 days of delivery unless otherwise agreed prior with NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES we will exchange it or offer a refund for the product. The consumer is responsible for the cost of returning the item. A re-stock charge of 15% minimum may be applied subject NS4X4 UK LTD t/a North South 4x4 discretion for diminished value. No refund or return will be accepted on "Electrical or VOR item" that are supplied by NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES. Model cancelation form at bottom of T&Cs.


At the discretion of NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES any goods supplied correctly by as ordered by the customer provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition, NOT fitted in anyway and within 3 days of delivery unless otherwise agreed prior with NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES we will exchange it or offer credit note or refund. NO carriage will be refunded and a re-stock charge of 15% minimum will be applied subject NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES discretion.

The customer is held responsible for the return of the goods NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES unless prior arrangements are made with NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES. 

Refunds will only be given once the goods have been returned in good order and in its original packaging. Please take reasonable care of the Goods as we are entitled to deduct an amount from the refund to reflect any loss in value of the goods supplied to you, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling of the goods by you. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last Good(s).

No refund or return will be accepted on "specially ordered" parts that are a part ordered by NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES on behalf of the customer. These are not stocked items and therefore will not be accepted for a return or refund. Any goods listed as "stocked to order" will also NOT be eligible for any refunds, even if wanting to be returned before the 14 days, "Stocked to order" means specifically ordered for your purchase and therefore non-returnable.

No refund or return will be accepted on "Electrical or VOR item" that are supplied correctly by 

NS4X4 UK LTD t/a North South 4x4.


Goods must be checked for suitability and tolerance prior to fitting or preparation. No responsibility whatsoever is accepted for the fitment of incorrect parts. The responsibility is clearly with the purchaser/fitter to ensure the parts supplied are correct for the particular job.


NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES is not responsible for any damage or consequential losses or labour costs resulting from the fitment of parts supplied if found defective or otherwise.

We will normally refund any money due to you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. This may take your bank approximately 3-5 working days from the date the refund is processed by us.

Please Note: We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of returning Goods during transit.

Cancellation of Orders:
You are able to cancel your order prior to shipping with no cost penalty being incurred and full credit of your account if monies have already been taken. 

We shall have no liability for incorrect Goods purchased by you online for foreign registered cars once the cancellation period ends 14 days after delivery.


We aim to process and dispatch all orders placed before 3pm on the same day. Delivery transit time, depends on geographical area but we aim to deliver within 5 working days.

You may use the model cancellation form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Defective Goods

If any goods are required to be replaced, for whatever reason, NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES, will only deliver to the original address the goods were shipped to within the UK.

If you purchase a product from us that are found to be faulty we will supply a replacement or arrange for a refund of the purchase price if a replacement is not available. To arrange the return of the defective goods please contact our office by email info@ns4x4.co.uk. Our parcel carrier will arrange to collect the goods from you. Upon receipt of the product we will examine it or we may have to return it to the manufacturer for examination before it can be accepted as a defective item. We aim to dispatch a replacement product or refund your money within 14 days or a reasonable period.

Defective Goods - Overseas

If shipped by NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES outside of the UK then it will be the customers’ responsibility to return the warranty component and arrange the carriage for the replacement part.
Any goods the customer has collected and shipped out of the UK and found either not to fit or be defective must be returned to NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES, address by the customer for any warranty on the product for whatever reason.
NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES will not be held responsible for any carriage or transportation outside of the UK to bring back any defective part; this will be the sole responsibility of the customer without exception.
Warranty of any goods will only be applied to the UK.
Overseas customers whom purchase goods do so by agreeing to our Terms and Conditions without exception.

Products are supplied with manufacturer’s standard warranties. Miss-use or the incorrect fitting of parts by customers will render such warranty/guarantee null and void.
Please note that no Chrome/Stainless product is covered under warranty if purchased from NS 4x4 

UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES for corrosion issues within any period of time. A customer that makes a purchase for any chrome / stainless product does so with this knowledge and agrees to these terms.

The customer must provide adequate paper work details received with the initial order, such as invoice number or Customer number in order for us to proceed with any claims. It is the responsibility of the customer and not NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES to source and provide these details prior to any claims.

The goods should also be returned with their original box, complete packing and accessories.

If the return is due to missing or faulty parts then we will offer a replacement provided we are aware of this within 3 working days.

Force Majeure:

NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered 

that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

any time without notification to take into account any increase in our costs (including but not limited to the cost of materials, labour, transport or other overheads, any tax, duty or variation in exchange rates).

For Goods purchased via our Website, the price you pay is the price displayed on this Website at the time we receive your order apart from the following exceptions:

For Goods reserved online via our click and collect facility or via any other reservation service the price you pay is the price on the day of collection;

While we try and ensure that all our prices on our Website are accurate, some prices may be incorrectly listed. If we discover an error in the price of the Goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the Goods at the correct price. We are under no obligation to provide Goods or Services to you at an incorrect, lower price, even after we have acknowledged your order or despatched the Goods or started performance of the Services. Where there is no error in our pricing or otherwise, the prices that you pay for the Goods will be those at the date of dispatch of the Goods.

We list prices as both inclusive and exclusive of VAT. All prices are exclusive of any other sales tax or duty that may be applicable which will be payable in addition to the price unless otherwise stated.

Unless otherwise specified, the delivery costs (if any) will be quoted at the time you place your order for Goods. The entire cost of any other mode of transport or any special deliveries other than the standard delivery service we offer, will be borne by you, as will delivery to locations outside of Mainland UK.

No allowance will be credited for Goods collected from our premises by you rather than delivered by us.

We reserve the right by written notice to you before completion of the Contract to vary the price of the Goods to take into account increases in costs including (without limitation) the costs of any materials, carriage, labour or overheads, the increase or imposition of any tax, duty or other levy and any variation in exchange rates.

Where goods purchased by the buyer are alleged to be defective, the purchaser agrees to return such goods to the seller for inspection and report (without the seller replacing the said goods prior to such inspection). The purchaser also accepts that it is reasonable to inform the seller of any interruption, defect or other failure prior to contacting independent 

third parties or incurring expense and, in addition, to allow the seller to remedy the defect, failure or interruption. Parts modified or adapted by the purchaser shall no longer be warranted by the manufacturer nor shall NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES be liable for any failures resulting subsequent to modification as a result of such modification.

Where any valid claim in respect of any of the Goods which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of the Goods or their failure to meet specification is notified to the Seller in accordance with these Conditions, the Seller shall be entitled to replace the Goods (or the part in question) free of charge or, at the Seller’s sole discretion, refund to the Buyer the price of the Goods (or a proportionate part of the price), but the Seller shall have no liability to the Buyer.

The Seller shall not be liable to the Buyer by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the Contract, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by the negligence of the Seller, its employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the Goods or their use or resale by the Buyer, and the entire liability of the Seller under or in connection with the Contract shall not exceed the price of the Goods, except as expressly provided in these Conditions.

The Seller shall not be liable to the Buyer or be deemed to be in breach of the Contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of the Seller’s obligations in relation to the Goods, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond the Seller’s reasonable control. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the following shall be regarded as causes beyond the Seller’s reasonable control

The customer must provide adequate paper work details received with the initial order, such as invoice number or Customer number in order for us to proceed with any claims. It is the responsibility of the customer to source and provide these details prior to any claims.

In the event that goods have been supplied incorrect, it is up to the customer to check the goods prior to any fitment or supplying to a third party. NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES shall be held liable for any replacement part to the original invoiced value. Should a part arrive incorrectly we shall endeavour to rectify the problem at the earliest opportunity by supplying the correct part or crediting the original invoice should a customer wish not to accept any more goods. In the event that the goods have been attempted to be fitted and damaged in doing so, the customer shall be held liable for those goods and incur all costs.
Carriage of an incorrectly supplied part shall be at NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES cost unless prior arrangements have been made with the customer. In the event that a panel has been painted prior to checking the fitment first and proves to be wrong, NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES cannot be held responsible for any costs such as labour or paint. It is up to the customer to check their fitment of the goods before altering any of the goods supplied. In the event that the goods have been altered, modified or painted in doing so, the 

customer shall be held liable for those goods and incur all costs.

Please ensure that all parts, panels in particular are checked prior to fitment, especially prior to any paintwork being carried out, NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES will not be held responsible if a panel(s) is incorrect for whatever reason and the panel has been painted prior to checking.

NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES will only accept a return product that has been wrongly supplied/delivered after being advised within a 14 day period, after which the customer shall retain all goods unless otherwise prior arrangement are made to NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES to the contrary

Wheels, Chrome plated, Stainless products;
Please note that NO Chrome/Stainless product is covered under warranty if purchased from NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES for corrosion issues within any period of time. A customer that makes a purchase for any chrome / stainless product does so with this knowledge and agrees to these terms.

Warranty does not cover the following:
Corrosion in anyway, Damage Alloy, Chrome plating Stainless or Lacquered surfaces due to:

a. Normal On-road and Off-road wear and tear including stone chips etc.
b. Salted Roads in winter causing salt corrosion.
c. Use of abrasive chemical cleaners

Wheels, chrome and Stainless products should be cleaned using mild soap and water solution, chrome caps, bumpers etc. are not covered under warranty against rust due to nature of our climate and the excessive salt applied on road surfaces.
To help prevent corrosion on chrome products smear the inside with a waterproof product or grease and apply polish throughout the winter, this will help prevent rust from forming.

The website shall always endeavour to provide the correct information, however, on occasions the images may not always depict the actual product and NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES reserve all rights to change a product for another that is fit for purpose.

Warranty and liability policy

Subject to the condition set out below the seller warrants that the goods will correspond with their specification at the time of delivery or collection and will be free from defects in material and workmanship as detailed on the product description. The Seller shall NOT be liable for any labour or associated claims should a product fail, warranty will however apply to any part or parts purchased by the buyer within the warranty period to include carriage to replace the original purchased goods.


Warranty subject to the following condition applies:

the Seller shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from, incorrect fitting of the Goods by you and/or a third party, fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow our and/or the Goods’ manufacturers’ instructions (whether spoken or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the Goods without our approval or for Goods fitted to any vehicle that is modified contrary to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications and/or (default) factory settings.

Goods must be checked for suitability and tolerance prior to fitting or preparation. No responsibility whatsoever is accepted for the fitment of incorrect parts. The responsibility is clearly with the purchaser/fitter to ensure the parts supplied are correct for the particular. The Company is not responsible for any damage or consequential losses or cost resulting from the fitment of parts supplied. 

Goods must be checked for suitability and tolerance prior to fitting or preparation, no responsibility whatsoever is accepted for the fitment of incorrect parts. The responsibility is clearly with the buyer/fitter to ensure the parts supplied are correct for the particular job / vehicle. NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES is not responsible for any damage or consequential losses or cost resulting from the fitment of parts supplied. Damage to any product during fitment lies purely with the buyer/fitter and is not covered under warranty terms. The above warranty does not extend to, any labour costs incurred, parts, materials or equipment not manufactured or supplied by the seller.

Where goods purchased by the buyer are alleged to be defective, the buyer agrees to return the goods to the seller for inspection and report (without the seller replacing the said goods prior to such inspection). The buyer also accepts that it is reasonable to inform the seller of any interruption, defect or other failure prior to contacting independent third parties or incurring expense and in addition, to allow the seller to remedy the defect, failure or interruption. Parts modified or adapted by the buyer shall no longer be warranted by the manufacturer nor shall NS 4x4 UK LTD t/a NS UK SPARES be liable for any failures resulting to modification.

Any claim by the buyer which is based on any defect in quality or condition of the goods or their failure to correspond with the specifications shall be notified to the seller within 3 days from the date of sale. If the buyer does not notify the seller accordingly, the buyer shall not be entitled to reject the goods and the seller shall have no liability for such defect or failure, and the buyer shall be bound to pay the price as if the goods had been received in accordance with the contract.

Where any valid claim in respect of any of the goods which is based on any defect in quality or condition of the goods or their failure to meet specification is notified to the seller in accordance to these conditions, the seller shall be entitled to replace the goods free of charge or at the seller’s sole discretion, refund to the buyer the price of the goods (or a proportionate part of the price), but the seller shall have no liability to the buyer.

Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the seller’s negligence, the seller shall not be liable to the buyer by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, loss of profit or otherwise, costs, expense or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by the negligence of the seller, its employees or agents) which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the goods or their use by the buyer, and the entire liability of the seller under, or in connection with the contract shall not exceed the price of the goods, except as expressly provided in these conditions.

The seller shall not be liable to the buyer or be deemed in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of the seller’s.
Obligations in relation to the goods, if delay or failure was due to any cause beyond the 

seller’s reasonable control:

Act of God, explosion, flood, tempest, snow, fire or accident

War or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition.

Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or local authority.

Import or Export regulations

Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial actions or trade disputes (third parties included).

Difficulties in obtaining the raw materials, labour, fuel, parts or machinery.

Power failure or breakdowns.
